2019 Annual Dennis Garvey Big Rib Cookoff
The 1st Annual Dennis Garvey Big Rib Cookoff September 7, 2019: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM At St. Patrick-St. Vincent High School 1500 Benicia Rd, Vallejo CA. Want to join us and eat some great BBQ ($20.00 per person):
- BBQ Includes: 3 baby back ribs, 2 side dishes and 1 beverage (includes alcohol)
- Kids Under 5 free
Want to participate in the BBQ cookoff (Entry Fee $30.00):
- Participants are allowed to use any type of sauces and/or spices but can only be cooked over charcoal or wood. No propane or bottled gas allowed.
- Unload your vehicle and supplies as early as 5am with no auto’s allowed in area after 8am – parking will be provided across the street.
- Entrants responsible for cleaning of their booth with no dumping of coals or ash · Judging begins at 12:00 PM sharp with 2 ribs per each judge (6 total)
- All ribs must be cooked at St. Patrick-St. Vincent High School.
